We are a nonprofit organization empowering local farmers through cooperative support and sustainable cacao production practices.

The Asociación de Productores de Cacao de Anserma Caldas (CHOC-ANSERMA) is a nonprofit organization committed to the sustainable cultivation of cacao in the fertile region of Anserma, Caldas, Colombia. By empowering local farmers through training, resources, and cooperative support, we aim to enhance both cacao quality and the livelihoods of our 120 active members. Our initiatives focus on eco-friendly agriculture practices that nurture the land while ensuring a prosperous future for our community.

Based in the heart of Bajo Occidente Anserma, CHOC-ANSERMA is dedicated to supporting cacao production and improving market access for small-scale farmers.

Our Journey in Cacao Production

Founded with the vision of enhancing cacao farming in Anserma, the Asociación de Productores de Cacao de Anserma Caldas emerged to unite local growers and elevate cacao quality. Over the years, we have established a strong cooperative framework that champions sustainable agricultural practices while enhancing market access for small-scale farmers. Today, we oversee 350 hectares and support 120 active members, continually striving to improve the local economy and farmers’ quality of life.
